The Wayback (VR film series)
A small personal project that became HUGE. I helped
co-found The Wayback; a groundbreaking series of
memory aid VR films helping people living with Alzheimer’s
remember their past.
Incredibly detailed, highly immersive 360 films recreate positive
moments from the past evoking the happy feelings that went
with them to jog the memory and spark positive interactions
and conversations in the present with loved ones and carers.
It’s like totally immersive reminiscence therapy.
Kickstarter funded, the pilot film features 170 volunteer
extras and faithfully recreates a street party from the
1953 Coronation.
